There are also others in the area starting even lower — $70K, even $60K — if you're open to doing some work. But this particular one is turnkey, which matters if you want to get in and get settled without a renovation project hanging over you.

Who This Is Actually For

Not everyone needs a four-bedroom house. Some people actively don't want one — the upkeep, the mortgage, the property taxes that go with it. Tiny living isn't settling. For a lot of people, it's a deliberate choice to own a home that fits their actual life instead of the other way around.
